Description:
Fine, unpretentious typewriter.
Although I like the body style over that of the Mod. 34, it is less practical because the ribbon cover is harder to remove.
The carriage return was on the heavy side. Luckily it’s easy on these basket shifted Erika’s to lower the drawband tension a bit.

I live in The Netherlands.
Most common typewriter brands over here are Triumph/Adler, Olympia, Erika, Olivetti, Remington and Brother.
I collect and restore typewriters to learn about their design and to write with them.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Erika 100 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Erika Serial Number page and the Erika 100 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
