Description:
Another beautiful machine, original green, made in Canada, with the extended French Canadian keyboard.
Machine needed cleaning, oiling and adjusting. It has a new cycling hub in black plastic.
Found in Sainte-Rosalie, Québec. Was the machine in a teacher's union office for 15 years or so, then was purchased by Mr. Yvon Plourde, a French teacher. Was last serviced in 2015 before I purchased it.

Bonjour! I am from the region of Montreal, Quebec and moved to Ottawa, Ontario in 1992.
Amateur watchmaker and machinist, I love anything mechanical, hydraulic or electric. I have restored American and Canadian clocks and small lathes, milling machines and a jig bore.
Most of my typewriters have French Canadian QWERTY keyboards, with some exception for rare finds.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the IBM Correcting Selectric III on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the IBM Serial Number page and the IBM Correcting Selectric III By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
