Description:
When I was 12, my mother gave me one of these for Christmas. It wasn't the fancy electric Smith Corona Automatic 12 my aunt let me play around on, but it was a typewriter, and it was all mine! I loved it. Fast forward 37 years, and I can't for the life of me remember what happened to my little blue Brother 100, but I knew I wanted to have one again. The type is a bit ghosty even after a thorough cleaning, but... it's character, and still has good action, so it's snappy and fun to write on.
Funny thing is... my middle son has the writing bug, so what better 23rd birthday gift for him than a typewriter like the one his old mom had?! He's pretty jazzed and loves it!

I'm Crystal. I am a newspaper-published writer, Novelist-in-progress, blogger, former Behavior Specialist, and an Ordained Minister. I absolutely love typewriters, and am growing a small collection. I have raised five sons to adulthood, and yet, I can't keep potted plants alive more than a month. My husband and I spend way too much time together, but that's okay.
