Description:
Not much to say about this one---parts machine from a yard sale, but it did come with that nice Smith-Corona soft vinyl case. Unusual styling and unusual dark teal color. Let me know how you like it.
There is one Change-A-Type key, the 1/4 over 1/2. but it is not obvious at all and the ribbon color selector is cryptic, too.
The type sample shows that the upper case function does not work and the lower case one isn't much better. Space doesn't work and the advance is erratic anyway. Etc.

While I find all of mankind's inventions interesting, I am most enchanted by the human-scale arts and devices, the ones that can be created (and repaired) in a home workshop or studio; the ones that can be understood by looking at them; the ones that do something useful or stir admiration. Typewriters work for me.
