For the price of $15 I likely would have bought it anyway but it can really use some work to correct some alignment issues although with firm striking the letters will align more consistently. It is an ultra-portable from the 70's so comparing it to a more durable Smith Corona from earlier generations is a stretch.

I purchased this typewriter on Kijiji without seeing it first and had a friend pick it up for me.
