Description:
This SC Coronet Automatic 12 was a thrift store rescue. It came with its original hard case and metal ribbon spools along with a manual entitled "Typewriter Service Points".
After a thorough cleaning, I repaired a broken ribbon spool post and replaced the drive belts so that it would operate as quietly as it was designed to do.
The Coronet Automatic 12 takes universal sized ribbon spools (2 in. x 1/2 in).
