197X Smith Corona Coronamatic 2200 Serial # SELA 577261G 197X Smith Corona Coronamatic 2200 typewriter, Serial # SELA 577261G Gerald Ambrose's 197X Smith Corona Coronamatic 2200 typewriter. 2018-08-25 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Gerald Ambrose: 197X Smith Corona Coronamatic 2200 Serial # SELA 577261G I got this from my grandmother's neighbor along with the Olympia SM7 and I have to say that I was NOT optimistic....
It was very dusty and I was afraid to even turn it on! However, after blowing out the dust with a can of air, I found that it works quite well! Even the nylon cassette ribbon still work!

I'm not 100% sure yet, but I like it better than the Coronet Automatic 12! It is not as 'harsh' as that machine.

Given to my great aunt the week of 8/19/18.
