Description:
Made in Brazil with a 27-inch carriage, this machine was given to me by my uncle, who found it in a military surplus store. Our best guess is that it would have been used for large (A1-size) maps and blueprints.
Perhaps the most surprising aspect is how smoothly such a long, heavy carriage advances.

College library staff (careful not to call myself a librarian without an MLS) with frequently frustrated literary ambitions. Nonetheless, I'll have the machines, if ever I break my writers' block.
