Description:
This nice Lettera 35 is a triumph of Italian industrial design, right down to the Quadratto typeface. But sadly, the mechanicals are not nearly as robust as some of its Swiss, West German, and even American counterparts of the 1970s. Still, it produces a visually satisfying typed page.

Lawyer and recently acknowledged typewriter addict. It all started with an IBM Personal Typewriter, followed by a Smith-Corona Galaxie Deluxe, an Adler Universal 20, and then, well, you know the rest.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olivetti Lettera 35 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olivetti Serial Number page and the Olivetti Lettera 35 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
