I didn't see any SN info on the main page, so not sure where the other three are coming up with year.
The trials and tribulations of electric typewriters. This one looked promising during a test, and I figured the shift was simple. Alas, there is a broken lever. The shift was locked up, and some effort to move it has freed it up somewhat. I think the issue is with the damper/plunger. But, since I have no parts, into a box she goes.
There's something to look for if you find one with an inop shift.
