Description:
Technically, this is an Olivetti-Underwood. They run ads for it as such. It is a Silver-Seiko build. It shares the same carriage bearing track setup as a carriage shifted Olympia SEP Olympiette. The drive on this is on the left side and uses a square belt. I used one of my Smith Corona O-ring stock. The belts don't really completely fail. The tenacious fiber strands hold on and lock up the motor. This was another one where I wondered if the motor was going to spin things up fast enough. The power roller is plastic, as are the cams.
