This is another Japanese typewriter from my collection. Mine does not have a case and has seen better days. I've cleaned it and it is is complete working order. I gave this machine to my kids so they can practice typing. Most of the time, they just create smiley faces by utilizing the dead key to make the 👀.

I'be heard that other typists don't like the repeating space key. I don't mind it at all, really. It's a fun feature to have!

I've seen photos of this typewriter having a key tension lever here, but it isn't offered on mine. But, you can see notches in the frame that support that lever.

I'm a software engineer in the Chicagoland area. I've been collecting "vintage" vinyl, computers, mechanical keyboards and typewriters since I was a kid. Born into an analog world, but grew up in a digital one.

My wife is a writer and I enjoy problem solving and puzzles, so naturally fixing I fell in love with fixing and maintaining typewriters and she then gets to enjoy all of these machines!
