Description:
Lightweight at 15lbs with case. It is a Brother JP-7 type which has a good reputation for being the pinnacle of the Brother line. Very reliable and has more functions than most lightweights. Feet crumbled and were replaced with some Ace Hardware feet. The plastic exterior is good on mine but I suspect that it would crack easily if dropped. The typing experience is good but I prefer heavier portables for extensive typing. Pica typeface.

Retired. Have been a Photography geek for many years...old school film. Also have been an audiophile and have been collecting vinyl before it became fashionable. Accidently(?) began collecting typewriters in the early1980's...I had four by 2006. After I inherited my mothers Hermes 3000 in 2017 my interest really took off and now I have 28 typewriters in total. The majority of my collection are Smith Corona's largely because they are plentiful, easy to work on and are very good typers.
