Description:
I purchased this Royal Sabre from a pawn/antique shop in July 2018 because I wanted to see a different typing experience than my 1955 Smith-Corona Clipper.
As many people have commented about the Sabre, the action is snappy and it can be quite nice for typing. Sometimes, if you're typing a bit too fast for it, two letters will come out on the paper looking like one is almost on top of the another, followed by a space that breaks up the word you're typing. So it could be a slight issue with the escapement.
The cover of this can block some of the keys. I think I need to insert washers to elevate it to resolve the issue.
I'm contemplating cleaning this up a bit and then selling.
