Description:
Pica No.12 10 pitch, Vietnamese keyboard;
uses dead keys to form the 67 diacritical combinations in the Vietnamese alphabet (the two keys on the top row between 9 and W, and the rightmost key of the next three rows);
note the English letters Z and W (not used in the Vietnamese alphabet) pushed to the far corners of the top row;
for someone who learned to type on a QWERTY keyboard without looking, this keyboard requires visual hand-to-key coordination, a correction ribbon, and some patience.

new collector. love old technology. still have the first computer I ever owned from 1983.
learned to type on a manual typewriter in high school, and in the 41 years since that class, I have yet to be able to break the habit of spacing twice after a period ends a sentence.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia Monica de Luxe on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia Monica de Luxe By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
