1978 Lectra 2000 Serial # 80419522 1978 Lectra 2000 typewriter, Serial # 80419522 Kewin Sanfridsson's 1978 Lectra 2000 typewriter. 2023-03-31 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Kewin Sanfridsson: 1978 Lectra 2000 Serial # 80419522 Here we got a Lectra 2000, probably some sort of Nakajima made typewriter from 1980s if I where to guess. The carriage looks identical to the carriage on my Sense 360 which was apparently a Nakajima made typewriter under the Swedish office supplies name Sense. The chassi on this Lectra is completely made out of metal contrarily to the chassi of the Sense which is made out of plastic. I don't know why but it looks really appealing and feels really good to type on.

Cons on this specific typewriter:
- It is missing it's lid/case.
- There are a few tiny spots of rust here and there. (Which I'm working on getting rid of.)
- The whole typewriter is warped diagonaly, so it dosen't sit properly on a leveled surface. I belive it have been dropped in the past. (I tried to fix it but accidentally dropped it myself, luckily it diden't worsen it.)

Hi my name is Kewin and I'm a 24 years old from Sweden. I have a few hobbies like drawing and playing guitar but I do also like myself some project here and there which is where my interest in typewriters fits in. I have always collected things through my life but I did not expect typewriters to be my next big passion in collecting. I started collecting typewriters in the beginning of 2022 and so far I have 80* of them (3 of which is currently disassembled) . I find it really enjoyable to pickup a typewriter at a thrift store/second hand and starting to clean it up and get it to a working condition to the best of my ability and knowledge. (Excuse all the dog hairs in my pictures, I do actually try to remove the hair before taking the pictures. xD) Cheers!
