1977 Remington (Brother) 700 Serial # M7241412 1977 Remington (Brother) 700 typewriter, Serial # M7241412 Jacob Peacock's 1977 Remington (Brother) 700 typewriter. 2024-10-21 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Jacob Peacock: 1977 Remington (Brother) 700 Serial # M7241412 I have fixed most of this machine, the tab is still stuck and I have found out the "u" key doesn't work, the small piece of metal that is hit by the rotating shaft the motor drives is broken where it doesn't hit the rotating shaft. Other then a non working "u" key and stuck tab it works. The machine was very gummed up and just mainly needed cleaning.
