Description:
Seeing "My Brilliant Friend" got me thinking about having a sleek modern Italian typewriter instead of the 1944 Corona, so this is the first of my "collection". Needed the normal cleaning and lube, Nice typewriter but I find the keys a bit close together for a lousy typist. Takes more pressure than the Adler or Olympia surprisingly.

Greetings! Typewriters have come and gone during my life but now I am focused on having the machine that fits the best. I sent off my Corona Standard in favor of a Olivetti Lettera 35 and a Triumph Contessa. I am a project manager by trade and activist by choice, I recently typed a letter to the Mayor to have a greater impact than email. Space requires I limit my collection to 2 machines.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olivetti Lettera 35l on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olivetti Serial Number page and the Olivetti Lettera 35l By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
