Description:
The white plastic shell on this late J5 feels more fragile than earlier versions, but the typewriter is still fundamentally a good one, with a well-working tabulator and a whisper-smooth return.
This example has a script typeface.
The machine can be dated (probably) by the month and year stamp in the molded plastic case: I'm not sure how to interpret the month, but the year is 1976.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Adler J5 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Adler Serial Number page and the Adler J5 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
