I got this machine years ago in upstate New York, but I can't remember where or when. I've always kind of ignored it, and considered it to be an ugly lemon of a typewriter, noisy and crude, but I suddenly recently fell in love with it. It's real workhorse, built like Fort Knox, and is made for heavy duty office use. The action is tough and springy, the shift is heavy. You can really bang on it for hours. I have to do a little adjusting on it to align the small and cap letters. I'm so glad I have it now.
