Description:
I use to own this for about 15 years. It had the fabric ribbon. Just elite font no matter what type ball I put on. It was fairly loud but it typed well and was a pleasure to use until a critical nylon gear pully cracked in its innards that to my mind made this a parts machine. It was way to complicated for me to repair and too expensive to send it to a repairman. Sadly, I gave it away. Maybe it got rescued.

Retired. Have been a Photography geek for many years...old school film. Also have been an audiophile and have been collecting vinyl before it became fashionable. Accidently(?) began collecting typewriters in the early1980's...I had four by 2006. After I inherited my mothers Hermes 3000 in 2017 my interest really took off and now I have 28 typewriters in total. The majority of my collection are Smith Corona's largely because they are plentiful, easy to work on and are very good typers.
