Howard Jones. Beige (Putty) with black keys. Ribbon guides behind vibrator were bent at 90-degree angle. 4/26/2026 we brought this to Mary's Garage typewriter repair clinic. Suggestions included heating the metal up, getting a hammer, taking everything apart, but finally Steve_B used some plier-like tool to un-angle the guides. Started collecting in March 2021 when an Olympia SM3 caught my eye at a thrift store. By May 2021, I was up to nine. By September 2021, my husband jumped in to the pool with both feet and our collection grew to 37. Phew. By October 2022 we had 64. In 2023 we began attending and hosting events where we can share our collection with the community and other collectors. We've sold or given away over 40. Good times.
