Description:
Pica; 12" carriage. Winter 2015.
This was my first typewriter. Bought new by my grandparents in the '70s, it was used for the family business (a towing/wrecking service run by my grandfather) for decades. During the winter of 2015, I had shown an interest in typewriters, so my grandparents decided to hand it down to me.
I kept this until about 2019 when I decided to sell it. You only ever have a first typewriter once -in hindsight, I probably should've held onto it.
Photos and type sample are from 2017.

Been enjoying the hobby since 2015; finally getting around to sharing my collection digitally. I only keep the typewriters I use and enjoy the most, so check out my sightings to see all the machines that came and went.
