As found. Under the cover and a blanket on top of that, so it is clean, clean, clean. It was either serviced and parked or rarely used. What a handsome devil. Pica Modern typeface.
Model D Executive Typewriters were used in Superman and Superman II movies in the offices of the Daily Planet.
