Basically an oversized Adler/Triumph Tippa S. That isn't a criticism -- I actually quite like the Contess's larger dimensions. It has more heft than the Tippa while maintaining a transport-friendly light weight. The typing action is fine. It won't be the best machine you'll ever type on, but it does the job admirably enough.
