Description:
1973 Smith Corona Sterling
FB Marketplace $40
Mostly Working Condition. When I received this typewriter, the drawband was disconnected and it took a very long time to reconnect it, and in doing so, I haven't been able to adjust the tension so that it stays even throughout. Otherwise it is a sturdy and functional machine.

Though I have had a love for typewriters since I was a kid (in the 90's) I didn't start collecting in earnest until 2020 (having had 3 typewriters still in my posession and several long gone). Since then, I have become an avid collector, focusing primarily on fully functional manual typewriters. After collecting more than 30, I determined that my favorite Brand overall is Smith Corona and I attempt to hone my collection in that direction. Here's the preservation of one of the best storytellers we've ever known!!
