Description:
I got this very cheap as it was not working. Motor and clutch were frozen but with a little work and cleaning/lube, it came to life, Tab function did not work initially but it works fine now. It now types perfectly, not much hum. Power return is pretty violent. Pica typeface. Note the bigger and stronger carriage release levers...old ones are notorious for breaking.

Retired. Have been a Photography geek for many years...old school film. Also have been an audiophile and have been collecting vinyl before it became fashionable. Accidently(?) began collecting typewriters in the early1980's...I had four by 2006. After I inherited my mothers Hermes 3000 in 2017 my interest really took off and now I have 28 typewriters in total. The majority of my collection are Smith Corona's largely because they are plentiful, easy to work on and are very good typers.
