Description:
The Olivetti lettera 35 was perhaps the last iconic Olivetti design typewriter. Designed by Mario Bellini, it was marketed by Olivetti starting from 1972. It was built in Spain and former Yugoslavia plants. The mechanisms, derived from the Lettera 32, are the same as the Valentine and other Olivetti models of the period. This specimen is in excellent condition and fully functional and is complete with its (ugly) plastic case. Classic (for Olivetti) Pica font.

I have been an Italian typewriter collector for many many years. At that time, I loved very old typewriters from late 1800s to early 1900s. After a break of a few years I returned to collect typewriters but no longer so old, I prefer now the design of the 40's, 50's and 60's. Yes, I am an affectionate collector of Olivetti, of course, but I'm attracted to all the other brands from that period, not just Italian.
