II'm an (almost retired) Floridian who began collecting typewriters about 4 years ago. I've learned over time to do some minor repair work, and have been able to help several friends with their machines. I'm also a member of Gregory Short's Type Pals. I participate in the weekly Type Pals meetings as time permits, and also enjoy watching the meetings after they're uploaded to Youtube.I enjoy using my machines and tinkering with them as necessary,, and type letters regularly to friends and family. I find the hobby great fun.
