Ahhhh yes. The (somewhat) controversial third generation Hermes 3000. Everyone who has seen and/or used one has an opinion about the the all-plastic outer shell. And while it likely won't win any industrial design awards, these machines nevertheless continue in the Hermes tradition of providing an exceptional typing experience. Notwithstanding the cosmetic charges over the years, there were few if any changes to the 3000's mechanicals over the course of its nearly two-decade production run. And that's a good thing for typers everywhere. An additional feature of this 3000 is its gorgeous sans serif Epoca typeface. You can even get a close replica of Epoca as a font for your 21st Century laptop (see link below).
