Description:
This is the first typewriter I ever owned. I purchased it at a garage sale for $1. Yes, $1. It has almost no wear, and required no cleaning or lubrication when I took it home. For being a cheaper typewriter, I find myself using it quite a bit. I really enjoy the weight and height of the keys. It is a really comfortable typer.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal (Silver-Seiko) Signet on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal (Silver-Seiko) Serial Number page and the Royal (Silver-Seiko) Signet By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
