1971 Adler Satellite Serial # 6337509 1971 Adler Satellite typewriter, Serial # 6337509 Stacy Jones's 1971 Adler Satellite typewriter. 2022-03-26 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Stacy Jones: 1971 Adler Satellite Serial # 6337509 Purchased from a local typewriter repair shop. The machine is electric. Has Elite Cubic typeface. This is not a Satellite 2001. That is a different model. This machine was made in West Germany, but after Royal purchased Triumph Adler. This machine takes standard half inch typewriter ribbon. I have been unable to find a user manual for it as of yet, so there is one switch that I have not been able to determine the function for.

I’ve been collecting typewriters since 2019. I started with a Remington 5 Streamliner that I found in a local junk shop and from there, my love for these machines grew and grew. I now have far too many typewriters in my collection, assuming that you think there is such a thing.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Adler Satellite on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Adler Serial Number page and the Adler Satellite By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
