Description:
I bought this machine from a Facebook seller in a Price Chopper parking lot as my third machine, took her to college, named her Elizabeth after the queen that ruled over Shakespeare's England, typed with her for a little bit, got my picture taken with her for the school newspaper, and decided to sell her not long after. Vicious cycle, I know. She was sold to a mother looking to gift her to her daughter for Christmas, so hopefully she'll cherish her more than I did.

![The lovely handle and badge on the case. I have found that this handle is far more ergonomic than the ones on 6-series Smith-Corona cases, but maybe I'm just a lunatic. That is for YOU to decide. I'm a relatively new collector hunting for anything inexpensive that I can get my hands on, functionality being a second thought. I have to learn somehow, right!?
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal Custom II on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal Custom II By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
