Description:
What? A boxy, white, plastic 1970s machine? In our collection? Why, you might ask.... well, I'll tell you. Ever heard of the typeface called "Fraktur"? If not, Google that immediately. All other questions will vanish. Another great machine from "Mr. & Mrs. Vintage Typewriters" in the UK! Thanks again Walid and JouJou!

Started with one typewriter in our small cottage, and ended up with over twenty! Transformed a closet into a gothic "typewriterbrary" and it makes a great centerpiece for the house, and an easy way to access all the typewriters for writing letters, journaling, and whatnot, as well as keeping them dust-free in the betweentimes.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia SM9 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia SM9 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
