Description:
Inherited recently. Modern Pica 10 CPI with number 67 on slugs.
Standard carriage width.
Excellent condition.
Update, carriage movement suddenly started making noise.
Looking under base I noticed next to escapement a small tension spring had lost grip.
This was easily returned to it's anchor, no reason for cause of failure, except the hook was slightly distorted.
Added photo of spring, it is the smaller diameter one in the center of the photo.
