Description:
This is not the best example of an Olympic SM-9. It's a bit dusty, a bit rusty, it has miscellaneous dings, dents, and other blemishes. The good news is that I blew out most of the dust and replaced the ribbon and it does a pretty good job of typing, which is what you want in a typewriter. This would be a good starter typewriter for someone who isn't sure that typing is for them, or for someone who just wants to learn how to type without spending a small fortune on a stunning antique machine. I'm looking to "re-home" this typewriter for nothing more than shipping cost (or you can pick it up free if you're in the SF Bay Area). It weighs about 17 pounds.
