Description:
Exceptional build quality, especially for a typewriter from 1970. The only small downside is that the left carriage release lever vibrates audible when typing.
Interesting detail: the carriage return lever can be pushed down a little. This is needed to put the typewriter in its case.

I live in The Netherlands.
Most common typewriter brands over here are Triumph/Adler, Olympia, Erika, Olivetti, Remington and Brother.
I collect and restore typewriters to learn about their design and to write with them.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia SM9 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia SM9 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
