Description:
Hermes 3000, serial number 7052455. Given to me as a Christmas gift in December, 2013. This is my 15th typewriter.
This French-made Hermes 3000 includes European accent characters fitted with carriage-pausing mechanisms. The carriage does not advance when an accent character is struck, allowing the typist to finish typing the letter with the accent mark without backspacing.
