Description:
Found at fall sale in Nebraska, case latch rusted shut.
Very little cleaning needed, rear rust very superficial.
Keys a little stiff, looks like very little wear.
Has the special key with slug that is exchangeable, now with = +
Needs service but completely functional now.
Ribbon advance was found to be stiff, was able to loosen up the action. Cleaned segment with solvent and now types well.
Note that this model has a paper injector. But it takes two strokes to get new paper into start position.
Condition of rubber found to be better than expected. Injected paper aligns perfectly every time.
This machine deserves to be given a restoration of the exterior paint.

Retired to the quiet of rural Nebraska to contemplate nature.
Typing down thoughts, prefer that to handwriting.
Not really a collector, just like to tinker on mechanical things.
