Description:
A little dirty, will look better after some light cleaning. I bought this for two reasons: 1. Olivettis don't turn up too often in the wild near me and 2. I had always wanted to try a Studio 44, and this was my only chance to do so for under $70. My thoughts? This is already one of my favorites. The action is so smooth, and the type is very clear thanks to a like new platen. Did I mention it's reeeeally quiet?
And yes, as everyone says, this is a huge "portable" (I call it a luggable).
