It seems like it was left under a harsh overhead light for years without being moved or covered, leaving a band of lighter coloured plastic on the top of the keyboard and other crevices. Pica typeface.

The carriage release handles broke off some years ago, but through the magic of the internet I managed to find a 3D print file and whipped up a replacement set using a 3D printer at a public library.

Also for sale, if anyone is interested.
