Description:
electric; script typeface. This typewriter has a bright red label near the ribbon color selector lever reading, in all caps, "Use Single Color Ribbon Only". This is because the script characters have some descenders that would hit the ribbon's second color. It also has an odd plastic(?) return lever that is not the usual metal.

While I find all of mankind's inventions interesting, I am most enchanted by the human-scale arts and devices, the ones that can be created (and repaired) in a home workshop or studio; the ones that can be understood by looking at them; the ones that do something useful or stir admiration.
