Description:
This is my first electric machine and my first machine with a script typeface. The upper case alignment needs a little adjusting, but everything works like it's supposed to. It's a really fun machine to use! I took the body off so I could get a better look at the mechanism. It's really clever. The belts still appear to be in good condition. The platen is hard, and it's loud even with two backer sheets. I made a small modification to the mechanism that controls the imprint, and that quieted it down. The key touch control has a huge range, and it takes a long time to get from one end to the other. The case is in good shape. I'm surprised that the electrics don't get more attention as much fun as they are to type on.
