Description:
My first typewriter! (I'm not counting the Brother electric I had in college that I stupidly left behind in my dorm room after moving out).
Purchased at the flea market for $10. Needed some cleaning, but works great.
A rebranded Smith-Corona Galaxie. Solidly built and a great typewriter to learn on.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Singer Professional T-62 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Singer Serial Number page and the Singer Professional T-62 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
