Description:
Heavy for its size, heavy carriage return. Type action doesn't feel heavy initially, but after typing for a while my fingers and arms get tired.
The Princess 300 has some oddities. The line spacing selector, carriage release lever and other levers on the carriage feel somewhat flimsy compared to the rest of the extremely solid machine. The ribbon color selector is inginious while the little ball to raise the paper support is of bad design. The ball is almost impossible to reach once paper is feed into the machine.
Keywords: heavy, overengineered, mediocre typing experience, lot of features, good looks

I live in The Netherlands.
Most common typewriter brands over here are Triumph/Adler, Olympia, Erika, Olivetti, Remington and Brother.
I collect and restore typewriters to learn about their design and to write with them.
