Description:
Duplicate machine ~ purchased from Goodwill online, Cleveland, OH. Bad shipping experience - case was unhinged but locked? Carriage return is loose, carriage lock engages randomly while typing, and the 2 levers that should allow the carriage to move freely do not work. Original spools, needs new ink, all keys work fine. Needs some interior clean up and carriage fixing! Can't wait to get those heart-shaped keys typing.

Started collecting in March 2021 when an Olympia SM3 caught my eye at a thrift store. By May 2021, I was up to nine. By September 2021, my husband jumped in to the pool with both feet and our collection grew to 37. Phew. By October 2022 we had 64. In 2023 we began attending and hosting events where we can share our collection with the community and other collectors. We've sold or given away about 21. Good times.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olivetti-Underwood 21 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olivetti-Underwood Serial Number page and the Olivetti-Underwood 21 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
