Description:
Picked up at a local typewriter store. The machine never had the ribbon cover and the store owner said it's a Hermes. I bought it regardless because it's perhaps the most comfortable machine in my collection to write on. The mechanism just flows. Was able to identify the model thanks to Reddit and Google Lens.
A fault developed later where the ribbon selector lever started moving out of place when I press the shift key and type. I'll be getting this rectified soon.
Note: Serial number can be found under the carriage, below the left spool.

I'm a young(er) typewriter nut who doggedly pursued and waited for the day I'd buy a Smith-Corona to write with. The hobby is gradually becoming an obsession with newer members coming in :)
