Around 1962 the typewriter was renamed Amaya, and in 1965 the company was renamed Industrial MecanogrƔfica, S.A., or IMESA.

The Florida is an Amaya exported to the United States in small numbers. It has a plastic body but solid and reliable metal mechanism.
