No one else on eBay wanted this typewriter when I got it for around $20. No other machine with this marking has ever turned up.
It's clearly a Nippo. The company also put out some other similar, rare name variants of the same design.
The name Alpina does not appear on this typewriter, but the Alpina logo does, with the word "Baby."
