Description:
Finally.
My father had a typewriter when I was a kid which he bough for college circa 1970. I would play with it sometimes, and when I finally asked for my own typewriter as a college student I thought I might get his. But my parents had given it to Salvation Army 3 weeks before I asked.
I have been on the hunt for the machine I am 99% sure is the make and model of my father's. After several years I finally found one at a reasonable price, just $17 including shipping from shopgoodwill.com
For some reason folks like to bi high on this relatively common Japanese made machines...
Per Ted's rules this is a second gen JP1 and given how close it is to the time my father bought his 1969 makes perfect sense. I am glad to finally have one.
